A few days ago superbly announced at the Geneva Motor Show, the Ducati Diavel is updated many call the second generation model, although the change in the power cruiser only few and simple for the new model year.
Peak power is the same as the previous models ( 162hp ) at 9,250 rpm although entry than 9,500 years ago. Dual Spark engine updates like the Multistrada, power range has been expanded, with more power in the lower revs than before. Peak torque rose though, to 96.3 pounds • ft – up from £ 94 • ft last year.
See on the outside is located on the exhaust stock ( adjusted to look more like a Ducati Performance Termignoni exhaust ), and radiator guards and LED lights. It is a light element that will attract most of the people outside the visual though.
Fans of the Diavel will enjoy a refreshed design and modern technology, however, if you happen to be in the group who had never cared for the appearance of the Devil Ducati, we imagine the changes will do little to flatter you more. We fall into the latter group, as we were never big fans of Monster aesthetics, until we saw the Monster 1200 course.
For most riders, the main difference is the addition of the Testastretta 11 ° DS engine, new exhaust system, and full LED lights. This change comes with an additional $ 1,000 to the price tag ” Dark Stealth ” base model, and the two machines Diavel Carbon ( Ducati Red & White Star ).
Without swinging a leg over the machine, we expect the ” second generation ” Diavel to be just as much fun to ride like its predecessor. Low, comfortable, and fast there is not much to dislike once you are behind the handlebars of this machine.
